LED lighting in Bicycles

Light Emitting Diode (LED) Lights are mainly used in the frontal lighting of bicycles, because of their brightness. However, the biggest advantage of these lights is that they do not consume much electricity. Cyclists normally install LED lights on their bicycles especially when they use it to cycle around at night. The only drawback of these lights is that they are sensitive to overheating and thus may not have a long life span. They usually are cheaply available, but if they do not have long life spans, continuous replacements can negate the cost advantage. Despite its pros and cons, LED lights are very much preferred to halogen lights when it comes to bicycles.
