LED and Light bulbs

LED’s are the new upcoming trend in society’s lighting technologies. Even numeric displays on clocks, watches and calculators are composed of columns of LED. However, most people are still unfamiliar with the difference between LED and light bulbs. Light bulbs are just simple wires attached to any source of energy. They produce light on account of being heated up and this heat is emitted in the form of light.LED on the other hand, allows the electrons to get excited rather than get heated up. This excitation of electrons causes the emission of light. An LED is made up of a diode which is an electrical valve that allows unidirectional flow of current.
