The future of home lighting is here. LED holds enough reasons for you to switch to LED than standard CFL bulbs. Firstly they last up to 50000 hours that is more than 10 times a standard compact bulb. They consume 10% of the energy a standard 60 watt bulb would consume. They contain no hazardous materials. Also, they can be used as dimmers traditionally.
Only downside that the LED lights have and the reason it is not mainstream is because it is expensive and it has very less availability. Purchases have to be made online owing to its unpopularity as of now.
